Requirements
Must:
- Currently possess an active Top Secret with SCI US Security Clearance (TS/SCI) or have completed a Tier 5 (T5) investigation by the federal government within the last 5 years.
- Experience in working with Linux operating systems.
- Background in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and managing Linux (RHEL) servers or workstations.
- Capability to obtain security certifications such as Security+ (Sec+) or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications per DoD Instruction 8570 (8140).
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non-US qualifications relevant to this role.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation, configuration, and management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and AWS environments to ensure maximum performance and security.
- Work alongside teams to integrate AWS services, enhancing system functionality and operational effectiveness.
- Adhere to advanced security protocols, including the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Assist in system lifecycle management tasks, such as provisioning, patching, and maintaining RHEL environments to guarantee optimal performance and security.
- Manage user administration to ensure proper user access in line with security policies and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Participate in on-the-job training opportunities, which may include self-study, mentor relationships, and practical learning to enhance your skill set in Linux and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help achieve program goals in an Agile setting.
