Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non-US qualifications related to the role
- Over 5 years of experience in control system development programming
- 10+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience preferred
- Over 5 years in developing electronic devices used in control systems is desirable
- Familiarity with optical systems control (such as gimbals and fast steering mirrors)
- Experience with electro-optical systems is a plus
- Previous leadership experience in an engineering setting is favored
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a team setting to design a comprehensive closed loop control system for large, intricate optical systems
- Assist in formulating requirements for the control system
- Act as the controls subject matter expert supporting electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software teams
- Aid in integrating and testing control loops within the system
- Participate in developing verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with control requirements

Our mission focuses on developing and testing innovative concepts for the US Government. In this position, you will lead systems requirements definition, controls architecture development, integration, testing, and system support throughout the product lifecycle.
