Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proficient in GNC principles and spacecraft systems
- Capable of executing intricate GNC system analyses involving kinematics, dynamics, and control methodologies using both existing and self-created tools
- Skilled at breaking down extensive, complex tasks into clear, manageable segments for personal execution or delegation to team members
- Experienced in leading a small group of GNC engineers and collaborating with other subsystem experts and program leaders
- Willing to support activities (e.g., integration, testing, and mission operations) outside of standard hours as necessary
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the GNC subsystem (including hardware, software, and analytical elements) for satellite programs
- Conduct design, analysis, software development, and selection of components for the GNC subsystem to fulfill program specifications
- Oversee the creation of GNC deliverables while adhering to budget and scheduling constraints
- Communicate technical progress to program and company leaders, while also identifying and managing risks
- Coordinate with various satellite subsystems, systems engineering, and program management to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide technical guidance to a team of GNC engineers supporting a program, including task organization and delegation
