Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution
- 3 or more years of experience in engineering
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- 5 or more years of engineering experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Boeing flight operations and performance software (preferred)
- Ability to analyze data and formulate conclusions and recommendations (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Address customer inquiries regarding the Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL), Dispatch Deviation Guide (DDG), and Flight Crew Procedures (FCOM/QRH, FCTM)
- Provide around-the-clock support to Boeings Operations Center for urgent customer inquiries and ferry flight requests
- Conduct thorough research into customer queries, using ingenuity to pinpoint solutions and actionable next steps
- Collaborate with engineering teams and technical pilots to formulate comprehensive responses
- Document work thoroughly to ensure information can be utilized for future customer inquiries
- Advocate for enhancements to technologies, tools, and processes to improve readiness and reduce costs
- Aid in the training of team members on work processes and deliverables

We are The Boeing Company, specifically Boeing Commercial Airplanes, seeking a Flight Operations Fleet Support Engineer to join our Customer Support team in Seal Beach, California. Our aim is to ensure the safe, effective, and compliant operation of the Global Boeing fleet. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, enabling us to deliver world-class support to our airline customers and the flying public. This position necessitates working onsite 100% of the time.
