Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in embedded real-time software development
- At least 1 year of experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Over 1 year experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployments, and installations utilizing a DevOps tool chain, preferably with Artifactory and/or GitLab
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in C/C++ coding or Java development
- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, software engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Active U.S. secret clearance is advantageous
- Familiarity with ARM and PowerPC processor architectures is desirable
- Experience in new product development using small, agile teams on dynamic, fast-paced customer-funded projects is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, integration, modification, testing, and debugging of software for embedded devices that comply with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate on analyzing and translating customer requirements into software solutions for embedded systems
- Write and build code specific to embedded systems software for particular hardware configurations
- Contribute to the integration of embedded software with hardware components
- Analyze, monitor, and enhance the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems
- Participate in software testing and debugging for embedded devices and systems
- Ensure quality, safety, and engineering excellence for satellite and payload software
- Help in creating design and testing documentation and related artifacts
- Support conducting Cyber Vulnerability Analysis (CVA) for various processing platforms within the satellite vehicle framework
- Assist in the design and execution of cyber monitoring algorithms
- Develop, document, and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products
