Requirements
Must:
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering
- Proficient in software development with the ability to identify issues in documentation
- Familiarity with Python and Enovia PDM is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
- Design software and interface specifications
- Collaborate with customers on the development of software and interface specifications
- Conduct tests and validations to ensure system designs align with operational and functional requirements
- Troubleshoot issues related to deployed software throughout the product lifecycle
- Contribute to airplane installation designs and certification efforts for Network Systems and Airplane Programs
- Interact with airline customers to comprehend their intended usage of Network Systems
- Create software scripts to assist and/or automate testing procedures and analyses
- Maintain configuration matrices for customer configurations and architectures
- Manage engineering releases for airplane definitions and options
Description
We are offering a contract assignment to support our Boeing Commercial Airplane 787 program. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, and uphold software for network systems. Our projects focus on translating concepts and customer needs into specific architectures and operational specifications, including the integration of electrical systems into our complex airplanes. You will validate designs through laboratory and airplane testing, working with aircraft systems from their inception through certification and into their production lifecycle.
