Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with current full scope polygraph, requiring U.S. Citizenship.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Development Operations (DevOps).
- At least 3 years experience with scripting languages like Python, MATLAB, or similar.
- Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Bachelors degree or higher is preferred.
- For Level 4 applicants: 5+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- For Level 5 applicants: 10+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge of network protocols and services such as DNS, DHCP.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware for virtual machine management.
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins.
- Certifications in DevOps or IT-related fields are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Set up automation and tools for the installation and configuration of Windows and Linux servers, along with related software.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance including updates and security fixes through automation.
- Automate the configuration and management of network services like DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory for effective communication and resource sharing.
- Implement and manage backup strategies automatically to secure data protection and ensure disaster recovery.
- Automate the maintenance of security measures including firewalls and access controls to shield against unauthorized access and security threats.
- Analyze system performance, identify performance bottlenecks, and apply optimizations.
- Keep detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines, while also generating system performance and compliance reports.
- Engage in the planning and execution of new systems, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends while continuously developing skills and knowledge.
