Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- At least 1 year of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and drawing conclusions
- Familiarity with business intelligence or data warehousing development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, MATLAB, Java, C, or C++
- Experience applying machine learning techniques to large datasets
- Relevant experience in a Quality Engineering role (preferred)
- Proven track record in developing root cause corrective actions (preferred)
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Principles (preferred)
- Various ASQ certifications such as SPC implementation or data analysis (preferred)
- Certified Analytics Professional (preferred)
- Experience in creating data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or similar) (preferred)
- Knowledge of BI & analytic tools like Tableau, Power BI, and their supporting platforms (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements applicable to proposals and program processes and documentation
- Develop sections of quality metrics and design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory standards
- Analyze capability assessments to support supplier selection activities
- Participate in reviews to guarantee quality attributes are integrated into product designs
- Perform data analysis to confirm manufacturing and testing readiness
- Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances
- Analyze non-conformance trends to assess the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Compile performance reports and statistical data to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved
- Operate under general supervision for Level 2 tasks
- Represent Quality functions on team activities to incorporate quality requirements in proposals and program processes for Level 3 tasks
- Conduct capability assessments and process validations for supplier selection activities
- Engage in various reviews ensuring quality attributes are included in product designs
- Execute analysis, tests, and process audits to confirm manufacturing readiness, along with providing material review dispositions for non-conformances at Level 3
- Recommend corrective actions based on non-conformance trend analyses for Level 3 tasks
- Benchmark and analyze processes to ensure specified capabilities are maintained at Level 3
