Requirements
Must:
- IAM Level 1 DoD 8140.01 compliant certification (e.g., CAP, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC, CCP)
- Over 3 years of experience with cybersecurity policies and the implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards such as DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series
- More than 1 year of experience in implementing and maintaining DFARS/NIST SP 800-171 controls and aligning with CMMC requirements
- Preferred: Over 3 years in a role as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) in classified programs
- Preferred: More than 3 years using security tools instrumental for RMF such as NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS
- Preferred: More than 3 years assessing and documenting cybersecurity compliance through test or analysis data
Responsibilities
- Conducts security analysis across operational and developmental settings; evaluates threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces to assess compliance with industry and governmental standards
- Manages configuration of assigned systems; audits systems to ensure integrity of security posture
- Guides staff through assessments and analysis, documenting compliance status with security requirements
- Performs risk assessments and investigations, implements necessary risk mitigations, and supervises incident response activities
- Executes periodic assessments of hardware and software inventories
- Represents the organization on advanced projects and programs
- Advises management and clients on technical research initiatives
- Collaborates with relevant government clients, suppliers, and company staff to implement protective measures and ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards
