Requirements
Must:
- Currently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM)
- Over 5 years of experience with cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF), such as DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series
- More than 3 years of experience in implementing and maintaining Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) / National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-171 controls and aligning with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements
- Preferred: 5+ years in a role as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience using security-related tools and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF), including NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS
- Preferred: 5+ years assessing and documenting test or analysis data reflecting cybersecurity compliance
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) executing cybersecurity governance for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), DFARS, and CMMC systems
- Conduct security analysis of operational and development environments, focusing on threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces to evaluate compliance with industry and governmental standards
- Supervise configuration management for assigned systems, auditing to ensure integrity of security posture
- Guide staff in assessments and test/analysis data to record compliance status with security requirements
- Perform risk assessments and investigations, executing necessary risk mitigations, and overseeing incident response operations
- Carry out periodic hardware/software inventory evaluations
- Act as the organizations representative for advanced projects and programs
- Provide advisory support to management and clients on advanced technical research
- Collaborate with relevant government clients, suppliers, and internal personnel to implement protective measures and ensure comprehension and compliance with cybersecurity standards
