Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Ada and Python
- At least 1 year of experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), specifically VxWorks, HVP, or Wind River
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with SAFE Agile and/or GitLab
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is preferred
- Experience with building Docker Images, GitLab, CI/CD Pipeline, and VXWorks Workbench
- Proven knowledge of host environments, including processors, operating systems, and networks, along with software troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with software programming languages and databases, along with application capabilities in software
- Understanding of software architecture and design methodologies
- Experience in software development processes that comply with established internal and industry standards and best practices
Responsibilities
- Assist with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining non-embedded software throughout the entire lifecycle while meeting industry standards
- Collaborate on reviewing, analyzing, and transforming customer requirements into initial software product designs
- Help develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products for systems integration
- Contribute to the documentation and upkeep of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products
- Engage in debugging and resolving identified issues to bolster software reliability and efficiency
- Take part in managing user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing user feedback
- Support the implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development
- Aid in developing, establishing, monitoring, and refining software processes and key performance indicators in alignment with organizational objectives
- Document and execute software research and development projects
- Assist in managing software project activities and supplier relationships
- Monitor and evaluate software teams and suppliers to assure compliance with project plans and industry standards
