Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field (Graduate degrees are also acceptable)
- Proven experience in building, assembling, or testing complex systems
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, technical documents, and schematics
- Willingness to collaborate in a small team within a fast-paced setting
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical verification of spacecraft subsystems using standard testing equipment
- Collaborate with other teams to mechanically assemble satellite components into complex structures in a dynamic production environment
- Create and maintain version-controlled test scripts for automated spacecraft evaluation
- Draft test procedures and plans based on engineering drawings, schematics, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Ensure requirements are validated through a stringent Verification and Validation (V&V) process for both prototypes and flight models
- Work closely with technicians, quality inspectors, and engineers in a cleanroom setting
- Participate in environmental testing campaigns (EMI/C, Dynamics, TVAC) as a test conductor
- Document, analyze, and resolve non-conformances while implementing corrective measures
