Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in software development, specifically in government contracting and services
- Proven track record of managing technical teams and successfully delivering projects
- At least 5 years of budget responsibility
- 3 years of experience providing technical guidance in software development during capture and business development efforts
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies like Agile and DevOps
- Knowledge of government regulations and compliance standards concerning software development and cybersecurity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic approach
- Experience in managing budgets and resource allocation
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the technology vision and strategy for Tapestry, ensuring alignment with business goals and government mandates
- Drive innovation in software development practices and technology to enhance product offerings and service delivery
- Lead technical requirements and resource allocation to support proposal development and solution design
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to support the software development lifecycle and organizational needs
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, IT professionals, and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to translate their needs into effective technical solutions
- Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and vendor relationships
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify growth and innovation opportunities
- Identify risks associated with technology initiatives and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Manage developmental opportunities for employees and mid-level managers
