Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications related to the job - 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree OR 7+ years with a Masters degree OR 3+ years with a PhD - Familiarity with Military Standards/Handbook implementations (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461) - Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and functional diagrams - Knowledge of Tactical Fighters platforms and their subsystem integration - Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading technical projects and teams

Responsibilities

- Serve as the key subject matter expert and technical lead engineer for Mission and Safety Computers hardware, overseeing requirements development, avionics subsystem and system design, integration, testing, system verification, and supplier management - Direct the hardware design team to meet all Tactical Fighters program requirements - Create interface control documents that detail mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces - Conduct technical investigation and problem resolution at subsystem, system, and platform integration levels - Develop and implement weapon capabilities onto fighter platforms - Present updates to both internal Boeing stakeholders and external customers - Assist in subsystem testing of Mission Systems Hardware - Facilitate system testing in ESIL and during Flight Test - Support Safety Critical Functional Thread Analysis for Mission Systems Hardware - Aid in airworthiness efforts concerning hardware design and development
