Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in implementing control system algorithms within real-time embedded software
- Experience in developing firmware for real-time embedded applications
- Effective teamwork skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders of varied backgrounds
- Familiarity with developing embedded real-time software
- Experience with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) methodologies
- Experience with Agile software development practices
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- Typically 2 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Responsibilities
- Participate in the creation, documentation, and upkeep of software architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
- Code and maintain software components, ensuring they integrate into a complete functioning system
- Assist in formulating test procedures and documenting results to confirm requirements are satisfied
- Aid in the management of software projects and supplier relations
- Choose, customize, and implement processes and tools; set performance metrics
- Conduct software research and comparative analyses
- Diagnose and resolve software issues
- Operate under general supervision
