Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or U.S. equivalent qualifications related to the role - 2+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience - Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required for this position - Ability to achieve program access, requiring U.S. Citizenship only

Responsibilities

- Develop software requirements and design for a Vehicle Management System (VMS) - Utilize model-based system engineering techniques to design and validate system specifications - Analyze requirements to create and test mathematical models - Collaborate with subject matter experts to design solutions for various capabilities such as airplane subsystems (e.g., actuation), signal processing, redundancy management, system monitoring, and controls - Coordinate and integrate requirements among engineering teams - Verify and validate software against established specifications in virtual and hardware testing environments - Perform analyses to support the certification process of the Vehicle Management System
