Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in the Software Development Lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test
- Experience in a regulated environment, such as Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001, Aerospace Standards (AS9100), or DO-178C is preferred
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and related tools
- A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program
Responsibilities
- Support large-scale software quality engineering processes, resources, and infrastructure
- Engage in process improvement initiatives and assist in developing organizational policies, procedures, infrastructure, and metrics
- Prepare and deliver presentations at formal review meetings
- Lead the review and approval of software lifecycle documents and program outputs
- Plan and lead initial baseline audits of software engineering processes and related support functions
- Participate in configuration management activities
- Review deviations and waivers to the software baseline
- Plan software quality testing activities and prepare for test readiness
- Ensure the integrity of the testing process
- Verify testing outcomes
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and other functions to establish criteria and procedures for software delivery
- Conduct the final reconciliation of intricate software data products
- Develop software quality requirements for suppliers
- Plan and evaluate suppliers software quality systems and programs
- Participate in software acceptance and delivery processes
- Analyze data to detect trends in non-compliance and initiate corrective and preventive actions at the system level
- Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective actions
- Report non-conformance and corrective action data to appropriate management
