Requirements
Must:
- 3 years of experience with C/C++
- 1 year of experience in designing and developing software for Real-Time or Non-Real-Time systems
- 3 years of experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- 1 year of experience in Safety or Flight Critical Software Development
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution
- Current Secret clearance (preferred)
- Familiarity with real-time embedded software and Agile Software development
- Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, JSSSEH, DO-178C
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with VX Works or other Real-Time Operating Systems
- Knowledge of fault tolerance, signal processing, or control system design
- Proficiency with tools such as Git
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
- Create and sustain code, integrating software components into a cohesive functional system
- Develop software development plans, verification strategies, test procedures, and test environments
- Execute test protocols and document results to verify that software requirements are met
- Provide technical guidance for software projects
- Assist in generating and maintaining software processes, tools, and metrics
- Act as a subject matter expert in software domains and system-specific issues
- Monitor and assess the software team to ensure adherence to project plans and industry standards
- Train and mentor team members
- Operate under general supervision
