Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supply chain, business operations, technical/aviation support role, or engineering experience.
- Preferred: Over 5 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of educational background and experience.
- Preferred: At least 3 years as an engineer in customer support for an airline or supplier.
- Preferred: 3+ years supporting maintenance of aircraft or aircraft components.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess supplier repair and maintenance data for technical correctness, completeness, and adherence to internal guidelines and industry standards such as ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D.
- Use engineering expertise to evaluate the clarity, feasibility, and overall quality of component maintenance documentation.
- Identify, document, and resolve technical discrepancies, non-conformities, or data gaps in collaboration with suppliers.
- Coordinate effectively with supply chain personnel, internal design engineers, and airline stakeholders to align on requirements and solutions.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts by promoting process enhancements and sharing best practices for supplier data review and approval.
- Keep comprehensive records of reviews, findings, and decisions in our internal systems to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training, technical discussions, joint reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Operate under general supervision.
