Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Over 9 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role and 5 years in engineering project management
- Proven experience in developing and monitoring program plans, schedules, and budgets for technical projects
- 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience leading teams (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in engineering project management (preferred)
- Experience in cost account management and/or earned value management (preferred)
- Background in risk management (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project (preferred)
- Knowledge of Training Systems or Boeing military aircraft platforms (preferred)
- Experience working within a SAFe Agile team (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all engineering aspects of the product
- Collaborate with the technical leadership team, including chief engineers, system architects, and other product managers
- Oversee product release timelines and associated activities
- Develop strategies for risk mitigation and opportunity identification
- Play a key role in crafting the Statement of Work (SOW) and providing estimates to fulfill customer requirements
- Work with program management and engineering teams to create and uphold execution plans
- Monitor project progress and offer guidance for necessary adjustments
- Partner with the supplier management team to assess and track supplier performance
- Identify and address risks, issues, and opportunities, creating plans for mitigation or execution
- Ensure the product is fully completed before delivery to the customer
