Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications relevant to the role. - A minimum of 5 years experience in Systems Safety, Systems Engineering, and/or Product Design.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with USAF customers and Boeings technical and certification teams to ensure adherence to military certification standards. - Conduct airworthiness and certification reviews, identify certification prerequisites, and generate documentation for certification submission. - Lead assessments of airworthiness and certification risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. - Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the relationships among Amended Type Certification (ATC), Supplemental Type Certification (STC), and Military Type Certification (MTC). - Mentor team members and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in Military Certification processes. - Facilitate a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to plan, design, develop, and validate lifecycle-oriented system solutions. - Recognize potential risks, opportunities, and areas for enhancement related to Military Certification. - Offer technical recommendations to Program Leadership for innovative approaches to systems engineering problems.
