Requirements
Must:
- Associate or Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of IT Support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in MAC, Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test upon job offer
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Competence in conveying technical issues to both technical and non-technical staff and clients
- Proficient in or quick to learn various computer hardware and software
- In-depth understanding of computer hardware and software systems
- Capability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and on a computer
- Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly
- Frequently required to perform physical activities like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
- Required to operate hands for handling objects and paperwork
- Close visual acuity and the ability to focus is required
- Must refrain from personal technology use during working hours
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs when necessary
- Valid Drivers License is required
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier I and Tier II support and customer service for hardware and software to end users
- Identify, research, and resolve routine issues experienced by end-users promptly, following established protocols and troubleshooting
- Offer guidance and clarify policies and procedures to end-users
- Communicate technical information in easily understandable terms for non-technical users; ensure ongoing communication and incident monitoring until resolution
- Train customers on new devices and emerging technologies
- Install software on new or existing devices per standard procedures
- Assist in setting up new equipment and devices
- Help users gain access to systems
- Maintain knowledge bases, white papers, FAQs, and vendor documentation
- Contribute to the documentation of incidents, internal processes, procedures, equipment maintenance, and training manuals
- Participate in preventative maintenance according to specified guidelines and procedures
- Evaluate new computer hardware and software products
- Track hardware and software inventory
- Interact and collaborate with hardware and software vendors
- Engage in working groups, projects, and enterprise-wide teams
- Possibility of local travel to support remote facilities
- Fulfill other related tasks as assigned
