Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Associates degree plus 2 additional years of job-related experience for a total of 8 years of relevant work experience
- 10 years of total relevant work experience
- At least 6 years of application development, systems testing, or similar job-related experience
- Strong understanding of applications development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies in various environments
- High proficiency in programming languages and systems analysis methods
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Logical and abstract thinking ability while adhering to project goals and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to work well under pressure in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
- Familiarity with project management concepts
- Ability to evaluate requirements, risks, and benefits for a range of projects
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Deep understanding of organizational structures and dynamics
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and development tools
Responsibilities
- Generate deliverables related to assigned projects, including analysis, design, programming, and implementation of systems
- Collaborate closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to ensure understanding of business needs driving technical solutions
- Guarantee that solutions align with business and IT strategies and meet organizational architectural standards
- Provide support for system enhancements post-implementation
- Test modified programs, create necessary test files and data, verify logic, debug, and document the process
- Design and develop IT systems, employing innovative data sources and techniques
- Engage in the entire systems life cycle, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of complex software solutions
- Mentor junior programmers/analysts and serve as a technical consultant on complex projects
- Address and resolve issues in collaboration with systems analysts, programmers, and end-users
- Validate designed programs, performing debugging as necessary and documenting outcomes
