Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support, field service, or engineering role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong comprehension of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Comfortable operating in both office and shop floor environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver timely and professional technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose product issues and propose corrective actions.
- Help with product installation, configuration, and operational guidance.
- Document and communicate product defects, recurring issues, and customer feedback to engineering and quality teams.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Warranty departments to address product concerns.
- Assist with training for internal staff, customers, and distributors, including creating technical documentation or presentations.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all company products and their applications.
- Ensure that service and support records are accurately logged in the system.
- Engage in product improvement discussions and feedback loops with design and production teams.
- Occasionally travel to customer locations for hands-on troubleshooting or training.
- Adhere to all company policies.
