Requirements
Must:
- Experience in black-box testing for both authenticated and unauthenticated scenarios
- Proficient in external web application and REST endpoint testing
- Ability to produce a risk-ranked vulnerability assessment report
- Experience in retesting following remediation efforts
- Skills in logging and packet tracing submissions
- Familiarity with destruction attestation of test data
- Understanding of U.S.-based testing and data residency regulations
- Strong collaborative skills to work with various personnel including ADS, AOT, Fast, and ProMiles teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct black-box testing on external web applications and REST endpoints
- Generate risk-ranked vulnerability reports based on findings
- Perform retesting of systems after remediation measures have been implemented
- Log packet traces when required for analysis
- Ensure proper destruction attestation of test data post-testing
- Collaborate closely with team members from ADS, AOT, Fast, and ProMiles as needed during the engagement
- Execute external web application penetration testing specifically for VT TRIPS and VT Haul against production-like environments
- Adhere to compliance with U.S. data residency standards
Description
We are seeking a dedicated contractor to join our team for critical penetration testing assignments on external web applications. This role involves collaboration with our personnel at ADS, AOT, Fast, and ProMiles to ensure thorough and effective testing. The contractor will be engaged in black-box testing, producing vulnerability reports, and follow-up retesting in a U.S.-based testing environment.
