Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory (only U.S. citizens or dual citizens may apply)
- Public Trust clearance or higher is required
- 0–2 years of experience in Moodle LMS administration and architecture
- 0–2 years of experience with AWS-hosted applications
- 0–2 years of experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
- Understanding of AWS networking concepts and cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly OpenShift, is preferred
- Experience in government or regulated environments is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design modular, secure, and cost-effective SaaS-based LMS solutions that comply with enterprise architecture standards
- Implement SaaS design principles such as multi-tenancy and controlled customization for optimal performance and maintainability
- Oversee all upgrades and enhancements for Moodle and Totara platforms
- Plan and lead the transition of LMS runtime environments from EC2 to a containerized platform (ROSA – Red Hat OpenShift on AWS)
- Manage and uphold the full AWS-based infrastructure that supports LMS platforms
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code methodologies to ensure consistency, reliability, and repeatability across environments
- Enhance automation capabilities to optimize LMS operations and platform management
- Maintain stability, security, and compliance of systems throughout the modernization process
- Collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders in a federal, mission-oriented environment
