Part-time engineer - software development

- High School diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in a hotel or a related field required. - Preferred minimum of two years of progressive experience in a hotel or similar environment. - Trade school or college coursework in a related field is preferred. - Ability to work flexible and extended hours when necessary. - Physical capability to exert over 100 pounds occasionally, over 50 pounds frequently, and over 20 pounds constantly to manage objects. - Maintain a warm and approachable demeanor consistently. - Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with employees and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner. - Strong listening skills to understand and address concerns raised by guests and employees. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines effectively. - Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions. - Regular attendance in accordance with Highgate Hotel Standards, with scheduling adaptable to hotel needs. - Adherence to high personal grooming and appearance standards, including wearing the appropriate uniform and nametag. - Compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations. - Proactive approach towards productivity, identifying issues, and contributing to solution implementation. - Proficient in problem-solving, including anticipating, preventing, and addressing issues as required. - Capability to understand and apply complex information from various sources to achieve goals. - Must be open to cross-training in other hotel departments. - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. - Initiative in anticipating guests needs or operational requirements. - Undertake other tasks as assigned by management.
