Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience with Point-of-Sale solutions in a multi-unit franchised hospitality or retail setting, focusing on APIs and online ordering interfaces, configuration management, menu management, system rollouts, upgrades, and changes.
- A successful history of engaging with restaurant technology, demonstrating the ability to enhance current systems and implement new ones.
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, thriving in a dynamic business landscape.
- Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple projects with competing resources and timelines.
- Experience mentoring and developing teammates across various functions to adapt to evolving technologies and enhance skills over time.
- Proven ability to lead projects in distributed multi-unit franchise environments.
- Skilled in managing change across diverse and dispersed audiences, promoting mature application of project lifecycles and tracking changes and risks.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in training users, engaging all organizational levels, and drafting technical documents.
- Innovative, proactive problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Advanced business insight and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced context.
- Capable of tracking and facilitating long-term management and resolution of escalated and complex customer issues impacting team and business objectives.
- Experienced in leading weekly and monthly vendor performance evaluations to ensure adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs) and serve as an escalation point for technology and service delivery issues.
- Familiarity with PCI compliance.
- Experience with SQL Server is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Follow priorities established by IT leadership to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct necessary maintenance on POS and infrastructure as required.
- Address and resolve support requests and escalations promptly.
- Manage vendor relationships to handle vendor-specific requests and support issues.
- Maintain existing POS and online ordering systems for seamless operation across Blaze Pizza.
- Design and assist with system integrations involving third-party applications, data warehouse connections, and POS systems.
- Validate POS training materials for accuracy in terminology and functionality.
- Support organizational change management efforts and oversee the change portfolio.
- Track and document issues while managing expectations of restaurant staff, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with CCPA, PCI, and SOX standards for IT systems and uphold industry best practices for network security.
