Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in computer science, technical/vocational training, or equivalent experience
- Over 1 year of customer support experience in a technical capacity
- 1 to 3 years of experience in technical support
- Proficiency in scripting with languages such as PowerShell, VB Script, Winbatch, or Batch
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team
- Willingness to be on call when necessary
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer interaction skills
- Excellent technical acumen
- Positive demeanor and professional appearance
- Capability to create and maintain operating system images
- Familiarity with software and operating system deployment automation is advantageous
- Strong service-oriented interpersonal skills are essential
- A valid drivers license is mandatory (if lacking an Ohio drivers license, it must be obtained within 30 days of moving to the state)
Responsibilities
- Keep documentation and knowledge base articles up-to-date regarding job responsibilities
- Engage with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve their issues while identifying optimal solutions
- Prepare for and actively participate in meetings to provide updates on status, upcoming needs, and areas requiring improvement
- Stay informed about rapidly evolving technologies and collaborate with management and development teams to integrate new solutions, including participation in technology forums and user groups
- Apply change management procedures for all modifications to systems
- Update management on problem statuses and propose system enhancements
- Document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems as needed
- Oversee assets using asset management software applications
