Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in financial analysis and modeling, with a high proficiency in cash flow preparation.
- Advanced skills in Argus and Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
- Bachelors degree with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
- A minimum of two years experience as an investment analyst at a major real estate firm, preferably in acquisitions or a combined acquisitions and asset management role.
- Demonstrated history of successfully deploying capital into investment opportunities that yield expected returns and add long-term value for stakeholders.
- Experience in underwriting both commercial and residential asset types, with a preference for those familiar with development opportunities.
- Ability to prepare written investment proposals and participate in presentations for investment opportunities.
- Proactive and self-driven individual with a strong work ethic, able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing capabilities, coupled with a high level of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Compile and adjust discounted cash flow projection models for investments using Excel and Argus.
- Conduct thorough due diligence for new investments, reviewing environmental and engineering reports, title, surveys, historical financial statements, leases, and market research.
- Create and draft investment memos for presentation to the company and client investment committees.
- Track and evaluate the financial performance of properties and portfolios.
- Develop and maintain portfolio models.
- Provide support for financing and property disposition transactions.
- Assist in the preparation and review of portfolio-level and client reports.
- Generate ad-hoc reports as necessary.
- Contribute to special projects as required.

This position involves evaluating potential property investments and executing our overall investment strategy for our real estate investment advisory business.
