Requirements
Must:
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience in constructing data queries and writing complex SQL
- Proficient in creating data extraction and loading scripts, along with developing Microsoft and Oracle packages, functions, and stored procedures
- Excellent command of Windows/Linux scripting languages, Java, and file transfer protocols
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated expertise in understanding data exchange and interface necessities while applying data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques
- Capability to monitor existing production programs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Experience with Oracle Data Integrator and GoldenGate is an advantage
- Mature and responsible individual with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Rapidly gain insight into complex data models and data structures
- Design, create, test, and implement new software applications, while also maintaining and enhancing current ones
- Create test strategies and execute unit and integration tests; assess potential regression effects and conduct corresponding evaluations
- Build and oversee applications for handling runtime errors and exceptions, implementing automated alerts and self-repair solutions when applicable
- Track errors and exceptions to ensure they are resolved appropriately
- Act as a technical and business analyst, collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to clarify requirements
- Draft and update technical documentation
- Keep accurate records of problem situations and their resolutions
- Undertake additional related tasks as needed
