Requirements
Must:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Over 2 years of experience in technical support, field service, or industrial equipment service
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Capability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Preferred experience with heat press, textile printing machinery, or printing equipment
- Familiarity with PLC control systems
- Background in industrial manufacturing hardware
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical assistance through phone, email, and video conferencing
- Diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems
- Support customers with equipment installation, calibration, and operation
- Identify technical problems and guide customers through solutions
- Coordinate warranty services, replacement components, and repair actions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and service manuals
- Communicate with factory engineering teams in Chinese regarding technical matters
- Keep records in CRM systems and maintain service logs
- Offer on-site assistance when necessary
- Provide technical expertise to the sales team as needed
Description
We are a rapidly expanding U.S.-based company specializing in the sales and servicing of industrial heat press machines, including pneumatic, automatic, and large-format equipment utilized in garment decoration, textile printing, DTF transfer, and custom manufacturing sectors. Our clientele includes print shops, apparel manufacturers, promotional product companies, and industrial production facilities across North America. We are seeking a Bilingual (English / Chinese) Technical Support Specialist to deliver expert after-sales service, conduct technical troubleshooting, and offer customer support. Our work environment is office-based, but remote support responsibilities are integral to the role. Occasional travel may be necessary. We foster a collaborative team atmosphere that encourages international communication, and we offer a flexible schedule along with paid time off. This position is located in-person in Orange, CA, and is full-time, Monday through Friday.
