Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum of 5 years related work experience. - Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit/BIM with knowledge of 3D modeling. - Previous experience in Data Centers and/or Data Center Facility Design. - Familiarity with Data Center tier rating systems. - Understanding of design risk factors for redundancy and resiliency. - Strong analytical skills with problem-solving abilities. - Ability to navigate ambiguous environments and deliver effective solutions under tight deadlines. - Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and staffing. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions. - Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to mentoring early career professionals. - Active engineering registration or licensure (U.S. Professional Engineer License preferred).

Responsibilities

- Act as a technical specialist or Project Lead for Data Centers projects. - Oversee the delivery of design-only, design-build, and construction projects in Electrical Engineering. - Provide expertise in Data Center design standards and expectations to the engineering team. - Work collaboratively within a team of engineers focused on Data Center solutions. - Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and drivers. - Coordinate with local utilities on project technical requirements. - Review supplier submittals and provide technical feedback. - Continuously develop and enhance technical knowledge in specialty areas. - Prepare complex engineering deliverables and perform detailed research for project needs. - Ensure compliance with corporate quality standards and drive continuous improvement efforts. - Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements effectively. - Mentor lower-level professionals and assist in performance management and career development processes.
