Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in AWS cloud architecture tailored for enterprise analytics platforms
- Proficient in AWS data services including S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, EMR, and Lake Formation
- Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures such as Kinesis, MSK, and Lambda
- Skilled in data modeling techniques including dimensional, star/snowflake, and Lakehouse
- Ability to design efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for both batch and streaming data
- Strong SQL and Python programming skills
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow/MWAA and AWS Step Functions
- Knowledgeable in data governance, security measures, and compliance protocols including IAM, encryption, and access controls
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK
- Capable of AWS cost optimization and performance tuning
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced analytics solutions utilizing AWS technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and devise effective data strategies
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency
- Uphold data security and governance frameworks across all analytics platforms
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues ensuring high availability and reliability of services
- Document architecture designs and operational procedures for team reference
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and best practices
