AI/ML specialist

- Design and implement advanced AI/ML, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs) across healthcare, genomics, life sciences, and medical device sectors - Develop and refine LLMs for biomedical literature, clinical documentation, genomic analyses, and scientific publications, including RAG-based systems and AI assistant tools - Create generative AI and foundational models aimed at precision medicine, clinical decision support, and healthcare analytics - Utilize ML methodologies on multi-omics and clinical datasets (including genomics, transcriptomics, microbiome, cfDNA) to enhance disease prediction, biomarker identification, and patient categorization - Incorporate AI/LLM technologies into NGS and bioinformatics workflows (WGS, WES, RNA-Seq) for variant calling, annotation, interpretation, and automated reporting - Design instruments for automated genomic reporting, clinical summaries, and biomedical knowledge extraction - Construct scalable data streams and AI workflows for extensive biomedical datasets - Launch AI/ML and LLM models utilizing AWS, GCP, or Azure, ensuring they are production-ready through MLOps strategies - Collaborate with bioinformatics, wet lab, software engineering, and clinical teams to turn biological and clinical information into AI solutions - Assist in developing AI-enabled healthcare systems and software for medical devices, including clinical decision support systems (CDSS) - Ensure adherence to clinical and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, ISO) when applicable - Provide strategic direction in AI architecture, model design, and generative AI systems, including mentoring team members - Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support project delivery, innovation objectives, and organizational requirements
