Requirements
Must:
- I have over 3 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- I possess strong skills in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or Go.
- I have proven experience designing and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, alongside an understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
- I have substantial experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, with additional experience in GraphQL being a bonus.
- I am practically experienced with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- I am familiar with version control systems, preferably Git.
- I understand fundamental design principles essential for scalable applications and microservices architecture.
- I have experience with containerization technologies, notably Docker.
- I possess strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- I communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable server-side systems utilizing modern technologies.
- I will create, secure, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for use by front-end clients and mobile applications.
- I will develop and optimize database schemas, author efficient queries, and manage data storage solutions across both SQL and NoSQL environments.
- I will work collaboratively with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to comprehend requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- I will implement data storage solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
- I will write reusable, testable, and efficient code, along with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- I will engage in code reviews to uphold high code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- I will identify and troubleshoot system bottlenecks and performance issues, actively implementing solutions.
- I will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- I will stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to consistently enhance our tech stack.
