Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with 5 to 8 years of experience, Masters Degree with 3 to 6 years of experience, or PhD with 0 to 3 years of experience (6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree)
- Must hold and maintain an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Proficient in Linux, particularly RHEL 8 and/or 9.
- Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, Perl, Batch, and/or PowerShell.
- Knowledgeable in managing and maintaining backend Java applications.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Expertise in Postgres or other SQL database alternatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in training GALE users to enhance their proficiency with the application.
- Maintain compliance and security standards by patching multiple Linux servers.
- Install and upgrade the GALE application, ensuring optimal functionality across customer locations.
- Provide system administration support to various customer sites and assist external users through our help desk.
- Leverage analytic skills and GALE knowledge to contribute to application modifications and perform ad hoc analytic tasks for stakeholders.
- Test new GALE builds, document issues, and work collaboratively with the development team to address them.
- Execute basic GALE system administration tasks to guarantee optimal performance.
- Remain adaptable and open to learning new skills and technologies to meet evolving demands.
