Requirements
Must:
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and user account management
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to articulate technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple support requests
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Entra ID environments (preferred)
- Background in a multi-location business environment (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, etc.) (preferred)
- Experience with help desk or ticketing systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools (preferred)
- Ability to work independently while cooperating with the IT team
- Service-oriented attitude with patience for assisting users
- Eagerness to learn and enhance technical skills
- Dependable and responsive to support requests
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support for Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint
- Assist employees with login difficulties, multi-factor authentication setup, password resets, and account access
- Act as the main contact for IT support inquiries
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems
- Offer both remote and onsite assistance when required
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes from a technology standpoint
- Oversee the setup of devices including printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Configure and deploy new laptops and workstations for employees
- Install and maintain essential business applications
- Administer user accounts in Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, including permission assignments and access management
- Keep precise records of user access and related documentation
- Assist in troubleshooting issues concerning shared files, cloud systems, and internal tools
- Escalate complex technical challenges to the Systems Administrator as needed
- Support business systems and operational software utilized by the company
- Aid with software updates, system maintenance duties, and general IT housekeeping
- Ensure that IT documentation for standard procedures and troubleshooting is well-maintained
- Help manage inventory of company devices and IT equipment
- Track and oversee support requests utilizing the help desk system
