Senior Infrastructure Architect - Cloud/Data Center

- Lead infrastructure integration activities across user experience, collaboration platforms, data center/cloud architecture, directory services, and Office 365 environments. - Collaborate with enterprise architecture to create and publish standards, blueprints, patterns, principles, best practices, and technical guidelines. - Define the strategic direction for public cloud, directory services, collaboration services, network, storage, server platforms, databases, and security technologies. - Advocate for the use of shared systems and tools to minimize costs and enhance inter-team collaboration. - Ensure solutions do not replicate existing capabilities and are in line with IT and business strategies. - Act as a level 4 escalation point for operational teams, offering problem resolution and conducting root cause analysis. - Plan lifecycle and refresh initiatives to align solutions with the broader application, desktop, network, server, and storage ecosystem. - Develop and uphold a long-term infrastructure technology vision, assessing current capabilities and anticipating future needs. - Ensure all installations and upgrades comply with established policies, procedures, and licensing requirements. - Identify, implement, and monitor best practices in infrastructure architecture. - Review software requirements and design solutions that ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
