Must:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in ML/AI, data engineering, or software development
- 3 years of experience in building, deploying, and serving real-time ML/AI models with ultra-low latency and high throughput as resilient, scalable, cloud-native services
- 2 years of experience in building data engineering pipelines, ML/AI-driven products, or other related functions (e.g., software engineering, data science)
- 2 years of skills in Python and SQL
- 2 years of experience in software design, test-driven development, and implementation using a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Rust, C++, etc.)
- Solid understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and generative AI

Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale AI solutions using cutting-edge techniques
- Utilize broad and in-depth knowledge of machine learning and software engineering to contribute to Best Buy’s core AI roadmap
- Build real products that positively influence and enhance the lives of millions and drive significant financial impact to our bottom line
- Optimize inference latency to facilitate real-time ML serving for millions of our customers each day
- Collaborate with both the ML Science and Data Engineering teams to design the training/serving data schema for input features, as well as Request/Response data contracts during inference
