Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience with systems such as Qualys, BitWarden, Varonis, MS Defender or comparable tools.
- Strong critical thinking capabilities and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to system logs, vulnerabilities, security incidents, and support tickets.
- Oversee and coordinate security testing initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and social engineering exercises with both internal teams and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends to proactively counter evolving threats and minimize risks.
- Enhance system resilience through strategic backup/recovery plans, patch management, and high availability strategies.
- Document, manage, and push forward remediation efforts while offering training, support, and guidance to IT personnel and end users.
