Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Office programs.
- Significant experience in data visualization, creating dashboards, and development using drag-and-drop or other coding/low-code software applications.
- Completion of all necessary training to retain system access and roles related to citizen development of software applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Strong SQL experience and the ability to automate SAS code is highly recommended.
- Experience with JavaScript is highly recommended.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to propose alternative solutions when faced with challenges in data retrieval or manipulation.
- Availability to meet the demands of Senior Executive Staffs flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with government-led teams to facilitate the transition of the Data Request Tracking Utility (DRU) from MS Access to the ServiceNow platform as part of a modernization initiative to enhance workflow and continuous process improvements within DLA.
- Develop, modify, and test specific code alongside creating visual data representations.
- Create, alter, and test computer applications to ensure efficient operation.
- Engage with end users regarding dashboard and workflow tool modifications and lead testing sessions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage in-depth subject matter expertise and process skills to assist internal/external customers and stakeholders in identifying and addressing high-priority needs and systems support initiatives.
- Utilize customer service skills effectively and prepare briefing presentations for staff members.
- Aid in the design and delivery of training programs to DLA Aviation personnel and designated end users.
- Focus efforts on Market Research/Data Analysis, Performance Based Logistics Evaluations, and contracts for 3rd Party Logistics (3PLs) and 4th Party Logistics (4PL) providers.
- Support the evaluation and updating of policies, processes, and procedures.
