Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- 4-7 years of Software Development/Engineering experience
- In-depth understanding of complex LAN/WAN communications and network hardware (Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, and Palo Alto firewalls)
- Familiarity with Global Security Systems (GSS), Access Control entry (ACE), Wireless, Riverbeds, and Infoblox
- Experience with routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, BGP, Multicast, QoS, and OSPF)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Responsibilities
- Conduct code reviews and recommend enhancements to current processes and applications
- Resolve intricate design and build challenges and troubleshoot issues, collaborating closely with the testing team and requirements managers to ensure successful project execution
- Develop, maintain, and support a complex codebase for Department of Defense customer initiatives
- Monitor, assess, and sustain models within production environments
- Stay updated with emerging tools, frameworks, and research in optimization, AI, and ML
