Journeyman Solutions Architect

- Collaborate with a distributed remote team, primarily online - Design comprehensive solution architectures for optimization, machine learning, and AI-driven systems - Regularly report on the status of systems and projects - Review processes and procedures to ensure software quality and data accuracy - Enhance model performance, scalability, and robustness through experimentation and tuning - Develop and guide the implementation of Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) and other mathematical optimization models for complex decision-making tasks - Architect AI and ML solutions, including model lifecycle management, deployment, and monitoring - Convert business requirements into mathematical models, algorithms, and scalable system architectures - Work with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions - Ensure solutions maintain scalability, security, explainability, and adherence to enterprise architecture standards - Evaluate and select suitable solvers, frameworks, and platforms (commercial and open-source) - Lead technical design reviews, proof-of-concepts, and solution governance initiatives - Advocate for best practices in model performance, robustness, and responsible AI
