Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar role, or five years in a relevant position
- Comprehensive knowledge of systems integration
- Proficiency with DNS, DHCP, WSUS, SCCM, M365 Admin stack, Intune, Azure Cloud, and other Microsoft platforms
- Ability to generate system function reports when necessary
- Strong independent research capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative mindset for team-oriented work
- Efficient time management and multitasking abilities
- Experience with SAN administration and VMWARE
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including server deployment and networking
- Knowledge of web filtering software
- Experience with Cisco networking hardware or equivalent systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems and Windows Server operating systems and services
- Understanding of on-prem Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure in a hybrid setting
- Experience in configuring Domain Controllers and Forest levels
- Skilled in managing Microsoft 365 Admin Centers
- Experience with network managed backup solutions
- Familiarity with managed antivirus/malware applications
- Knowledge of RAID and optimal usage practices
Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, update, and maintain servers and databases, including server certificate management
- Monitor and assess server performance and health both on-premises and in the cloud
- Diagnose and resolve server software and hardware issues, documenting all findings
- Develop and implement schedules for server upgrades and replacements
- Execute data backup and restoration procedures
- Create and oversee user accounts, email accounts, groups, and permissions within a hybrid on-premises and Entra ID Active Directory framework
- Install and set up software and security protocols on various systems and devices
- Sustain and integrate enterprise application systems
- Address performance issues and automate tasks as necessary
- Document all performed tasks and projects
- Collaborate with other departments and subsidiary companies to ensure appropriate support for daily operational needs and contractual obligations
- Conduct auditing for systems, applications, and security events
- Create and manage Group Policies and Objects
- Oversee Domain Controllers and Active Directory Forest in a hybrid M365 environment
- Assist in resolving IT service support tickets as needed
