Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Python development, preferably in a machine learning engineering role
- Practical knowledge of integrated cloud data science platforms, especially Databricks or GCP
- Solid grasp of fundamental data science concepts and the challenges associated with transforming research code into production-ready solutions
- Strong awareness of best practices in software engineering
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-focused development workflows
- Knowledge of API performance monitoring and logging practices
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain infrastructure for deploying ML models in both real-time and batch processing environments
- Create and manage endpoints for serving machine learning models
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to integrate machine learning services into client-facing applications
- Partner with platform engineers to adhere to infrastructure best practices and ensure robust deployments
- Review pull requests and enhance code quality across our various teams
- Oversee and maintain cloud-based machine learning services, ensuring their reliability and performance
- Design and execute continuous integration and deployment pipelines for machine learning model rollout
- Write unit tests while adhering to software engineering principles to guarantee code maintainability
- Aid in the development and enhancement of our model registry, including tracking, implementing model upgrades, and monitoring model performance
Description
We are a dynamic company located in Hartford, CT, and are currently seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in a hybrid work environment ideally requiring in-office attendance 1-2 days a week.
