Responsibilities

- Perform evaluations of incoming transcripts from accredited higher education institutions and other documentation, such as military transcripts - Utilize Academic Advisement Reports (AAR) in ctcLink to assess graduation requirements and approve credential conferrals - Verify the accuracy of AARs and resolve any discrepancies with academic catalogs - Import coursework electronically into ctcLink based on the transfer credit process - Manually enter courses into ctcLink when received in non-digital formats - Process approved course substitutions within ctcLink - Assess the transferability of incoming credits - Communicate effectively with students regarding degree and certificate requirements related to transfer evaluations - Consult with supervisors on complex evaluation matters - Provide excellent customer service and independently address student inquiries regarding graduation and evaluation policies - Manage phone and email communications professionally and responsively - Track and oversee the processing of transfer evaluation requests and align service indicators with milestones - Ensure adherence to institutional, state, and federal regulations - Regularly archive transcript records in line with college retention policies - Handle general office tasks such as filing, copying, and supporting front counter operations - Assist in enrollment processes including registration and tracking of transcript requests and graduation applications - Contribute to policy and process improvement discussions for the advancement of the colleges mission - Engage in professional development through department and campus opportunities, including meetings and training - Perform additional related duties as assigned

We are looking for a dedicated Program Specialist II to join our team who can make a significant impact on our students educational journeys. Our institution promotes a collegial environment that values professional growth and collaboration. The starting salary for this position is $5,054 per month, and our workweek consists of 40 hours, Monday through Friday, typically from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. While we primarily operate on-site, hybrid work arrangements may be available. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision options, generous leave allowances, retirement benefits, and more, all governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
