Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree
- Two years of experience in admissions, college registration, academic advising, credential evaluation, or related fields
- Proven experience working with student information systems or similar complex records databases
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and/or confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with ctcLink or PeopleSoft is preferred
- Familiarity with state and federal policies related to credit awarding and regulations such as FERPA
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and articulate student records for transfer across a range of educational programs
- Conduct Academic Advisement Reports (AAR) to assess graduation requirements
- Review AARs for accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Import coursework electronically using transfer credit processes
- Manually enter courses when transcripts are received in non-digital formats
- Process approved course substitutions in the system
- Determine transferability of incoming credits
- Communicate with students regarding degree and certificate requirements
- Collaborate with supervisors on complex evaluation matters
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve student issues independently
- Manage transfer evaluation request forms and service indicators
- Ensure adherence to institutional, state, and federal regulations
- Regularly archive transcript records as per retention policies
- Perform general office tasks, including filing and communication
- Support enrollment processes, including registration and graduation applications
- Contribute input on policies to enhance college objectives
- Engage in professional development and cross-training initiatives
- Undertake additional related duties as required
