Requirements

Must:
- At least 5 years of experience in systems administration or a related IT infrastructure position. - Experience managing Google Workspace and/or Entra ID. - Practical knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Nutanix, Docker, ESXi, or similar. - Strong familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy Management. - Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and fundamental networking concepts. - Experience with Remote Management Platforms like ManageEngine, ScreenConnect, or Intune. - Capability to manage endpoint patching for both Windows and Mac systems. - Availability to participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, maintenance windows, and incident response as needed. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities. - Reliable transportation is essential. - IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and maintain Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems (both virtual and physical), ensuring regular updates, patches, and troubleshooting are performed. - Implement security standards by utilizing Crowdstrike reports and alerts from the Security Operations Center (SOC). - Create and manage Group Policy Objects, including user provisioning and authentication services. - Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential concerns. - Document system configurations, processes, and modifications in accordance with our internal IT standards. - Collaborate with third-party vendors to execute systems hardening initiatives and/or implement conditional access SSO. - Act as a primary contact for resolving complex issues reported by junior staff and the help desk team while coordinating projects with network teams. - Support migrations, upgrades, and integration initiatives. - Design and implement infrastructure solutions that align with business and technical goals. - Record processes and procedures for newly implemented technologies. - Develop and implement scripts to automate routine operations.
