Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT support or related roles
- Degree in Information Technology or relevant experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Active Directory, O365, and Azure environments, including Teams and Outlook, is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Customer-service focused with a patient and reliable approach
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic Active Directory
- Understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP) with exposure to Cisco/Meraki
- Capability in printer support, mobile device assistance (iOS/Android), and basic telephony administration
- Basic knowledge of virtualization concepts (VMware)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain thorough documentation
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability and integrity of in-house data and network services
- Install, monitor, maintain, and optimize workstation and network hardware and software
- Provide technical assistance and training to end-users
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with clear communication
- Onboard new hires by provision of computers and peripherals
- Monitor system and network performance to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Oversee equipment upgrades and validate changes in coordination with operations
- Plan and execute IT projects to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain up-to-date network and server topology diagrams
- Create and update IT operational documents and instructional materials
- Collaborate with vendors for support and warranty repairs
- Interact with global IT teams to escalate and redirect issues as needed
- Follow all relevant safety and compliance protocols in plant operations
